JOHN BAKER , ASSISTANT TRAINER
John has been with Greg for eight years, prior to that he trained for himself for twelve years and had the top horses Sun Classic, Brilliant Poet, Trelorne & Richochet Star and the jumpers Sericulus and Andraami. John brings with him a lifetime of horse racing experience starting as an Apprentice Jockey. SARAH BERRY, RACING ADMINISTRATOR
Sarah has been riding and competing all her life and has always worked with animals. Starting as a Veterinary Nurse & riding track work in her home town of Bendigo. Horses have always been her first love and she decided to embark on a career in racing, kicking off with a year at Lee Freedman’s before joining the David Hall stables where she was a leading hand and chief lead pony rider for 5 years. Sarah then managed the spelling horses at Vinery Stud before a serious riding injury put her behind the desk with John Mc Ardle as a PA for two years before she joined Greg's team.
CRAIG WRIGHT, FOREMAN & NUMBER 1 TRACK RIDER
Craig Started out in NZ where he was the leading apprentice and top jumps rider, after becoming too heavy he moved to Australia at 18 and spent the next 10 years with Mick Kent both here and in Singapore. He has also held his trainers licence and has broken in many top horses including Sky Heights and Inaflurry. Craig has been with Greg now for 7 years, taking six months off in 2007 to ride in Dubai.
JESS HEAL, FOREMAN
Jess has been riding and competing since she was 10 with Western Horses, including a year training and competing in Germany. After coming home from Germany three years ago she started working for us as a stable hand. She very quickly proved to be a capable, reliable and dedicated to her work and her love of horses is clear to anyone who sees her around them.
CLINT COOPER, MASTER FARRIER
Clint has been shoeing Greg’s horses since he was an apprentice. His association with Greg Eurell Thoroughbred Training is 12 years strong. He works closely with Greg and is highly valued here, as the saying go’s: No Hoof No Horse!
