Last Thursday 4th April, we raced two boys for the Buttler Family – Rangal Park and connections. Props was first up having his 3rd start down in Geelong with Zac Spain. Running 2nd on debut at Pakenham, he wasn’t up to his best at Mornington leading up to this run but he had worked hard and we were looking forward to seeing him back in form… and he did just that! Chasing down the favourite for a head bobbing photo finish saw Props take 2nd with just a nose separating them!
Heading off that night to Pakenham with the big bull, Northeast Duke, going back to back was on the cards and we were hopeful.
Standing around 17HH the entire looks intimidating… looks… he is very well natured and a stable fave, Eric has been very patient with the stunning 4yo and he is in great order.
Race 6, Dwayne Dunn heads out. They jump out well and they are leading the way, Duke responds to Dwayne at the 200m and runs away to an impressive all the way win by 2L.
The big boy has gone back to back and we are ecstatic – for the Buttler Family & connections, Dwayne on a sensational ride & the Cadet Lodge Team.
