Satin Affair

We have partnered up with Stallion Match/G1 Goldmine, a business that specialises in analysing horse matings. They purchased a lovely chestnut filly at the Melbourne Premier Sale in March for $100k, based on an excellent pedigree match. We are now offering a 3 year lease with no upfront payment in this filly, who is now 2 years old and is named Satin Affair. She is by Maurice who needs no introduction as a sire, his son Hitotsu a VRC and ATC Derby winner and sire himself, and Mazu a 9 time winner and $10M prizemoney earner amongst his 33 stakeswinners. Her dam Satin Love was an $800k yearling purchase being by Snitzel, and ran 2nd on debut as an early 2yo in a Group 3 race. She is from an elite racing family, her half brother Anders was a Group 3 winner and is currently doing well at stud, and another half brother Ostraka has won 5 races and $1.2M in prizemoney.

Satin Affair had a month of pretraining in October, and came to Cadet Lodge at the start of November and has been handling her work very well. She will be just about to step up into some quicker work with a view to get her to a jumpout/trial stage soon.
