Our cracking 2yo Explosive Witness lived up to the pre-race plunge that saw him go from 18/1 on the tote to odds on favourite on Friday at Moonee Valley, he didnt have things go his way but still proved just too good for them! Not to be outdone his 3yo half sister Carterista finally managed to snare her elusive maiden victory yesterday with a very dogged run after over-racing early to overcome the well bred Weir runner. These are the first two foals from the Danzero mare “Rocket Baby” herself a very fast mare who we did not get to see the best of. Looks like her best will come from her impressive progeny with lots more in-store for these two very talented siblings.
